Food was great, fantastic atmosphere, staff were very obliging and service was not to fast all in all up there with Sydney&#39;s best Italian restaurants also cheaper than I was expecting thanks for a great night

Trattoria La Vigna

A very good small shop, I love his fried chicken noodles the most. The freshly made fresh and juicy fried chicken skin is crispy and tender. It is better than the outside. The chicken soup noodles are delicious and smooth. You can choose noodles, noodles or rice. They are all delicious.

Had beef &amp; ale meat pie with mash potato and mushy peas. Mash was good, mushy peas were a tablespoon of green puree. The pie was really good, very large, excellent pastry &amp; good inside. Satisfying. For $28 was Good.

Managed to get a last minute table. The waitress looked like she didn&#39;t want to be there. Ordered the arancini balls for entree which was nice, needed more sauce however. Ordered the veal tortellini for main. Took a while to come out. Tasted like it was frozen from a bag. It came with a mushroom and bacon bosciola sauce. Had about 4 slices of mushroom and 4 slices of bacon in the whole bowl. The sauce was quite bland and there wasn&#39;t enough. I like my pasta dripping in sauce. My partner had the prawn gnocchi. Very small dish for the price. I had heard such great things about this restaurant but was very disappointed. I don&#39;t think I will be going back.

We were a party of 12, the food was tasteless,inedible and crudely presented. We wernt even questioned when all of the plates went back almost as full as they had arrived. We have dined here often, each time has been ordinary, but we kept going back hoping it had gotten better as we love to support anything local. We have even encountered an arrogant gentleman, who looked at us with distain when we were trying to book a relatives 60th a couple of years ago...pity he was so rude as this was a 78 person booking,but due to his attitude we took it elsewhere...good call i would say ! But Christmas eve was the last straw, never again, which is a shame as it has the perfect location and surroundings
